mogadishu
I've been playing MVP for a few years now, but have never been able to lead, and in turn steal basses, because I only have my keyboard. I take it this year, you need a gamepad/controller to make dives etc, so I decided I really should get one. I would only be using the controller for MVP, so I'd like to get one that isn't really expensive. I was going to just buy the most popular new model at gamestop or amazon, but I've seen some threads about some controllers not working... So, can anyone tell me what the best controller (no bugs, runs smooth) for MVP 2005? Thanks!
MetsDrummer
Well, I bought a logitech cordless rumble pad 2 and it was bugged. I returned it and got a new and it's perfect. I like its feel more than other controllers.
Filthy57
I have a basically brand new cordless rumblepad 2 (logitech) and it works fine (for now anyways). I have always heard good things about the Saitek p880. I think it's about $20 and I haven't really heard any problems that anyone has with it. Probably worth checking out. twins8791
i had the cordless rumblepad but after about two months of using it it just quit working for me. new batteries and everything, won't do anything. piece of carp. now i'm rockin a NYKO airflo but my slides don't work (right stick) any suggestions (getting a new controller doesn't count)... mogadishu
ok i got it set up and working.. i pretty much get everything, except run to (base) and aim when your hitting are the same thing.. the left analgo or the digital one. so when i have a runner on first and i want to hit a fly ball/hr, i think it works, but my runner also tries to steal 2nd... what controls should i switch? Viceman2004
If u have ps2, you can get an adapter. But it looks like you got one already.
mogadishu
i bought the saitek 880 and my only issue is the batter aim is the same as run to (base). Since batter aim isnt something you can chage, what should i do? BTW, the left analog is the thing in issue.

"Run to" base is the d-pad.
EagleBall5
On the P880, which I use, there is a digital button in the middle of the gamepad. Always leave it off!
