mbowkett1978
Anyone know how to set "restore file" location to App Data in Norton? Long story made short, I forgot to back up my most recent Franchise file and made some changes using Reditor, Norton decided to delete the file as it viewed it as potentially dangerous. I can restore the file, just cannot figure out how to point the restore location to appdata? Gordo
First mistake: having Norton (or McAfee) on your computer. System hogs and overkill. Dump it. Good luck. mbowkett1978
Oh I'm aware. I usually remember to either temporarily disable Norton or exclude the location. Forgot this time and lost about 2 weeks worth of updating. F**K! Soooo pissed off at myself right now @Gordo, such a rookie mistake to make. BillyBall305
Do a google search. You will find a quarantine folder somewhere on your computer? It may be hidden, but its somewhere, Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/68859-restoring-a-franchise-file/#findComment-699494 Share on other sites
mbowkett1978
I've Google searched the heck out of this, I believe it to be a limitation of Norton and what it sees it file location structure. Oh well, time to retrace my steps and recreate the changes made.
