Mets1fan
Travis Hafner was hurt for 98 days, so I put him on the 15 day DL (I could have put him on the 60, but decided not to). Once 15 days came up, a box popped up that said "Travis Hafner has been on the 15 Day DL for the maximum 15 Days". It then asked me to fix it. So I transferred him over to the 60 day DL. Since when is the 15 day DL a maximum? I thought it was a MINIMUM. Can someone confirm/explain why my game thinks that there is a 15 day max on the 15 day DL? DarkEnigma510
As I understand it, If your player goes on the 15 day DL, a roster spot opens up so you can replace that player. Once the 15 days is up, you have to decide to either bring him back to your 25 man roster (and thus send back a person to the minor who replaced that injured player), or add him to the DL again. This is the way it works in real baseball, too, if I recall correctly. If someone gets injured for a long time its just best to put them on the 60 day DL. KenDammit
the 15 day DL is not a minimum for anything other than the minimum amount of time you want have someone replace the guy. You can't spend more than 15 days on it without making a decision to keep a player on it again or bring them back to the bench. So, there is a MAX for the 15 day DL, thats why its the 15 day DL
