I won in 11 innings. In the bottom of the 10th they were up with the bases loaded 1out. They hit it to deep center field. But their players were running instead of tagging up so no one scored.

I went 16 innings in MVP 2005. It was in late in the season and I was playing against the rival braves(doesnt that make the game exciting itself?) Well to add on to the situation we were battling to win the division. Anyway:

Mike Hampton starts the game for the Braves at Turner Field. Steve Trachsel was mine. SO the first pitch of the game Reyes smacks a fastabll inside part of the plate. Hey what a great start! Very suprising from Reyes. Mat sui follows with a base hit to left and Beltran comes up. I put on the hit and run and Beltran bombs one 400+ to right field. 3-0 Mets. ( Four Innings Later ). 4-1 Mets. Trachsel was pitching well. I give up a base hit. Then another. Then Chipper comes up. Well I pitched him a fastball down and away and he CRUSHED it. 4-4. ( 8th Inning) I take Trachsel out and put Dejean in. He is doing good until guess who. Chipper. I hung him a mistake pitch curveball inside and for the second time he takes me deep.

5-4 Braves. Im getting nervous because im gona go into the ninth with my 8-9-1 guys. Its one of those games you dotn want to lose. Leading off Andres Gallaraga. He grounds out. Next Eric Valent (Pinch Hitting and doing a dam good job this year.) First pitch and whack a opposite field that just cleared. 5-5. Now I warm up Looper thinking Reyes MAtsui and Beltan would find a way to score. WRONG! Reyes pops out. 2 outs. Matsui gets on and steals on a changeup. Beltran!!! 2-1 count in my favor. Im guessing a pitch down the middle or near it. SMASH!!! ITS DEEP ITS GOING ITS GOING....it falls into the first basemens glove. Next inning I bring in Strickland and sit Looper. He does good and blah blah blah no action in innings 9-15. 16th inning. Beltran Piazza Wright. Beltran out. Piazza Deep fly ball left field could it be could it be!!!! NO!!! ROBBED BY ANDRUW JONES!!! I WAS SO PISSED!!! I take a crack at it with David Wright next. (angels sing) 3-2 Changeup inner part of the plate and BANG! DEEP FLY BALL NO ONE IS CATCHING THAT ONE SEE YA LATER!!!! So happy i would win this game. Still I had to close it with Looper. He comes in. First batter gone. Second batter Chipper Jones. Hate seing him today. He went 6-6 with 3 HR. I decided to picth him carefully. Down with a breaking ball. First pitch breaking pitch down. SMACK! its hit long and deep and just clears the park...foul. What a relief. I decided if im going after him im going with the 97 MPH heat. Well it worked i got him in the next two pitches. And Looper makes the next guy look folish striking him out 1 2 3. Game over Mets win!

It had to be the most exciting game Ive played. Its games like those that make you want to play the game...even when its 2 in the morning and your half asleep.

mogadishu, I typed it. Screenshots from the game, then Notepad.

NYM91, when a guy is 6 for 6 with 3 HR in the 9th inning, I'd intentionally walk him. :)

I just went 11 innings with the Sox against the Mariners. Wakefield v. Jamie Moyer in Fenway. Wake went 10.1 innings and struck out 13. Wake gave up two runs early to the Mariners, so I was down 2-0. Bellhorn hit a HR over the monster in Fenway in the 6th. Mueller also hit one over the monster to tie it up at 2 in the 8th. Mueller hit the HR off of Jeff Nelson, who also gave up the walk-off HR in the bottom of the 9th the day before. I loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the 10th, but and infield fly followed by a fly out couldn't score a run. Wakefield gave up back-to-back triples followed by K No. 13 before he was pulled for Bronson Arroyo. Arroyo went the other .2 innings and I went into the bottom of the 11th down 3-2, with Eddie Guardado coming in to try for a save. Manny popped straight up and Guardado made the catch. Ortiz flied out into left. Varitek came up and swung at the first pitch. He crushed it and Ichiro retreated to the wall. Ichiro leaned over the short RF wall and made the catch, ending the game after 11 innings. Nelson, i believe, got the win, Wakefield got the loss (3-2 on the season) and Guardado got the save. It was a good game, but it was too bad I had to lose like that, especially after loading the bases with 1 out just an inning earlier.

Just a couple days ago I went 19 innings in mvp2004. Drays vs. Yanks. I had to face Lieber, Kevin Brown, Mike Mussina, and Javier Vazquez all in the same game. After I allowed 2 runs in the top of the 19th, I had two men on for Crawford, hit one to center that Bernie dove for and missed. The other two OFs seemed to be playing closer to the lines, so Crawford made it all the way around for a 3 run walk off inside the park homerun. I was jumping up and down in my living room at 2:30 AM.

549 innings in mvp 2003. I'm still playing it, it's currently paused on my 2002 old p4 1.4 ghz computer in the basement.

Mets Vs Diamondbacks score is 109-109. I think i hope the torture and pain finally ends tonight. I got the heart of the order coming up -- again.

Just had another good game. It's about a week after the first one in my dynasty, and I'm playing the Mariners again, with the same pitchers (Wakefield & Moyer), too. This one went into 13.

Wakefield went 4.2 innings and I pulled him after he gave up the game-tying 4th run. Ramon Ortiz took over in his first bullpen appearance of the season (taken out of the rotation in favor of Bronson Arroyo after a 1-1, 6.17 ERA start to the season). Ortiz ended up pitching 6.2 scoreless innings, giving up 2 hits and striking out 9. By the time the 12th inning rolled around, Ortiz was getting tired so I pulled him in favor of Abe Alvarez, who I'd called up a few days earlier. He pitched 1 inning and picked up the win and his first major league SO.

Moyer went 8 innings for Seattle, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits (2 HRs), striking out 3. The Mariners brought in Eddie Guardado (their closer) for the ninth, despite the fact that I had tied up the game just an inning earlier. He went 4.2 innings and looked strong until the 13th. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits in total, including a solo HR to Bill Mueller and a 2-run bomb to Edgar Renteria. Nelson came in for the final 1/3 inning and got Manny to pop out.

I brought Foulke in to close out the game and he did just that. He pitched a perfect 13th, not even surrendering a hit, striking out 1.

i was playing as the braves against marlins on pro. it went to 18 innings. it lasted for about an hour. man, i was dreading! i had players in scoring positions quite a few times with 2 outs in extra innings but couldnt manage to drive in the runs. finally until the top 18th, andruw jones at the plate blasts a homer to the left field on the first pitch. i was so relieved.

I once had a game go 23 innings! It was against the Florida Marlins- in the world series, at Yankee Stadium. In the top of the 20th, with the bases loaded, and nobody out for Delgado (7 at bats already, with 5 hits) I brought in Mike Stanton to face him. On a single change, I got him to ground out into a 5-4-3 triple play, brilliantly played by AROD, Womack, and Tino. In the bottom of the 23rd with Bubba Crosby at bat, who was actually playing catcher, I had him hit a game winning, 2-run home run. I won 3-1
