OEdit - UV Map Editor help

For anyone good with Oedit, what is the best way to detach vertices

in the UV Map editor to move them and select new parts of the bmp

to use?

Example: Several panels in one part are connected together,

I need to separate them in the UV editor so they point to different

images and not repeat the same one over and over.

Is this even possible in Oedit or am I just overlooking something?

Any help would be appreciated, this has been most troublesome.

Sometimes this is not possible.

However, one helpful trick for when it *is* possible is shift-clicking, which UN-selects vertices. You can select a bunch of vertices, then un-select all the ones you don't want to move. This technique works quite well a lot of the time.

Thanks for the pointer ezorn, I found what seems to be a backwards

way to get them separated, but its working.

Oedit sure is a pain to use, but it seems to be the only way to get

things looking right and in the right places.
