KerryW
I started a poll like this for last year's game, but I'm still curious as to what level you guys typically play on. As for me, MVP with a few variations within the sliders.
mrg1
I am trying MVP, but not doing too well on the hitting side i voted all-star, as that is what my dynasty is
The H
Started on MVP, dropped it down to All-Star and bumped it back to MVP 3 days ago. Playing with a very solid set of sliders.
nittanylionfan3
I still play on Pro because I can't win when I play on All-Star. I lost like five games by alot of runs.
MarkB
i play on All Star mode i find it te most realistic cause i can lose and win,and i dont cheat by holding the analog up thing That's not cheating - it's just the equivalent of swinging for the fences every time you're at bat. Far from cheating. I play on All-Star with customised sliders, by the way.
Emil
All-star almost defult slides
eko718
I play MVP. Default sliders. and i dont cheat by holding the analog up thing Not cheating at all. Has its advantages and disadvantages for those who choose to do it.
Spivey11
All-Star, no sliders (yet)
BudHawk
Another feature of the datafile is you can adjust each level difficulty. If you are a twenner between Pro and Allstar, you can adjust accordingly. If MVP is not hard enough, tweak it. Do a search in the datafile for SKILLBASE, and adjust the levels. Among the options are catch radius (UserCatchAssist) and last years UserControlDelay (UserAssistTime).
mangabee
I like ALL-star with Pared's sliders. Its about my range. I get punished for bad pitching and have to hit to win... Pro just got to easy to rack up SO's and win by a decent margin each time..
Disengage
Pro with default sliders, I usually win but get a loss here and there so I don't get too pissed at the game for being too easy
goose
All star with sliders. And get very realistic results. found MVP to be too hard and too unrealistic, of course that could be because I'm not used to it yet, I dunno :?
mrg1
When pitching on MVP, I feel like im just at the mercy of the AI. Perfect pitches that graze the corners get crushed. All-Star is far more realistic, but I find pitching way to easy on that level. I will probably do some experimenting with the "pitch meter difficulty" on allstar to find the right balance

I play on pro so I'll definitely check out these settings. Not to mention I've been looking for the UserControlDelay since the game came out. That stupid fielder pause gets me at least once a game :)
BudHawk
Thanks edm I just found the skillbase yesterday. It was on the excel spreadsheet by snepp. I have not found the time to test all the data elements. I am like you, playing on Pro, but getting ready for All Star. I was also looking for the UserControlDelay from last year. :p
Disastros
I play on all-star, with a couple of minor baserunning slider adjustments and injury freqs maxed right up.
Lual
pro - with pareds v1.0 sliders & trues / spitoons datafile bloody hard lol probably coming from online to offline - the button reactions are slightly different - so im often pitching to early in offline games. still i actually beat the cpu for the first time last night 2-1 yanks over sox
