I do think that the colors (the reds' red and the dbacks' purple) might be a bit too bright, so please let me know! I saw two different photos with different tones - could it be that opening day uni's had brighter colors ? Just check mlb.com's shop and look for opening day caps....they're much brighter than normal caps. Weird. To Devil: I assume you're a Reds fan, so please let me know if anything's not ok Have fun ! Yes, I'm a huge Reds fan... so thanks a lot for that... great job overall, specially with the batting gloves, man... awesome!. Now, here are a few comments/advice/requests: 1) The red is just a tad bright, but still acceptable (if you can make it less bright, great... if not, it's fine with me, I like it). 2) Although I really like them in red, the shoe color is wrong... they use black shoes with all of their unis now a days... so my advice is that, if possible, you change them to your black and white Nikes or maybe some black and red ones (the swoosh logo = red colored). 3) What's with the edgy neck line??? your latest Dodger set has this fixed... why not my Reds??? . 4) The little Russell Athletic logo is missing from the left sleeve. This screenie applies to #3 & #4: 5) Do you have a version of those same Nike batting gloves, but instead of being red and white, in red and black??? if so, that color combination would look a lot better with this set... the reason, black is now a big component of the current Reds theme. I hope I'm not being too much of a pain in the butt (which I know I can be some times, hehehe... )... if so, I'm really sorry... but being this a Reds set, man... Btw, I used red socks for the road uniform...is that right, or do they use black ? I'll fix everything you wrote ! No problem Just give me a day to fix everything & I'll upload a new version tomorrow! About the neck: I have to fix those by hand, cause I got the shirt and the undershirt/neck in seperate layers, so I just do those when the uniforms are done (I'll do that tomorrow as well). Thanks again! PS Tomorrow is night for you, since I'm at central european time....they'll be done around tomorrow afternoon (hopefully I've finished the pirates too by then). Some suggestions and requests for you if you don't mind: First the purple, it's good and you could stick with and it wouldn't be a problem. In this photo of Brandon Webb, if you compare the purple to yours, it's actually "blue-er" in the photo. But yes, it is just a photo and if you look at 10 different photos it would probably be 10 different purples just because of the lighting. Another thing is the logos, In the away gray jersey, the Arizona logo has a gold and white border with a drop shadow. In this photo I have, the border is more prodominant than in your rendition. Last are some requests: Black catcher's gear is worn with all jerseys and it has white trim not turquoise. Also, can you do catcher's helmets? Because it could use some redoing as well. Robby Hammock wears a black helmet with purple trim that mimics the scales on the dbacks "A" logo on both sides (as shown in pic), it has a Dbacks "A" logo on the forehead and on the back Thanks and keep up the great work. Strange thing is, mlb.com seems to have photos in the shop of old stuff, cause the dbacks' official press photos look much more like yours. The stuff in the shop looks much more purple. Bartw Posted May 14, 2004 Author Share Posted May 14, 2004 One thing about the road logo for the Dbacks: mine has the exact same logo, straight from mlb's press kit, but the white and gold are too small and kind of blend into eachother when resized. I noticed you used black Nike's with a red logo. From what I can see, the Reds shoes are black with a white logo. Minor thing, but if you happen to do a new version, I thought I would mention. The Nike ones are black and white, but most of the players use Nike Keystones, which are black and red or Adidas, which are also blak and red.
