theoricle11
what is the best way to send a message pitch, or brush someone back off the plate without hitting him?
MarkB
I just use a high and tight fastball. It seems the only way to hit the batter this year is either accidentaly (missing the pitch meter) or by using the specified control for it. I did it quite a lot last year using very high and tight pitches, but this year they avoid them.

MarkB
Depends on how you mean "work". If they set up the hitter, yes. I've not seen the batter move back in the batters box because of a pitch inside, but every time I've tried it, which is quite a few times (I don't like guys crowding the plate), I've struck them out on the next pitch with a fastball down and away.
