upshawfan
hey guys stupid question for you, I get the basics for using MVPEDIT and to export to the database file. The question i have is how do you make all the changes into a roster file, or make as your default rosters, so you can then use in the game. thanks in advance
MarkB
Just export the rosters to the database folder and they will appear as the stock rosters.
Snash13
when your roster is open EXPORT the entire thing to Program Files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database and click yes when it asks to overwrite the files. BE SURE TO BACK-UP THE ORIGINAL FILES!!!
upshawfan
ok...ive tried that but dont see any of the changes ive made, what would cause this, or is there a step i am missing. 1. open mbe file 2. do changes and save mbe file 3. export to programfiles/ea/mvp/data/database 4. overwrite-click ok then when i check in the game, the changes havent been made, does it have anything to do with profile in the game maybe? jbmagicfan
you forgot to import first step backup database folder then open mvpedit and import and point to Program Files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database then edit roster and export to Program Files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database and say yes when it ask to overwrite. qpontiac
what is he importing though? He is opening an .mbe file, so I don't see why he needs to import anything... This might seem like an insulting question upshaw, but did you double click on the database folder when exporting actually opening the folder? stecropper
Don't forget once you get in the game to go to Roster Management and hit the Reset Rosters function.
