Stix Posted March 21, 2005 Share Posted March 21, 2005 When your starting(or relief I suppose) pitcher get really fatigued and at the end of the pitching meter it gets red, are you supposed to release before, during or at the very end. Like, if you release it at the end and theres quite a bit of red, will it affect the pitch any. Just wondering. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
KenDammit Posted March 22, 2005 Share Posted March 22, 2005 makes it harder to control if you're in the red before you stop the meter. I think it speeds up the meter going back to the green, and/or does other things. I hardly ever hit the red unless i'm trying to blow a fastball by someone to get a much needed out.
