The H
Timing is the name of the game when trying to bunt for a single.

MarkB
What H said. I just laid down the perfect bunt with Ferdin Tejeda. Best bunt I've ever seen. Right down the line, hard enough to draw the 3rd baseman in, but not too hard, soft enough to give him a 2 second run to get it. He was safe at first by 2 full seconds. nittanylionfan3
MarkB try doing that again, bet its nearly impossible. I can never lay down a good bunt.
MarkB
I've laid down a few good bunts, but this one was perfect in every sense of the word. Bunts are generally pretty easy. As a pitcher, I know. :D
AcousticNut
If you're trying to bunt for a base hit, time your swing just like you would a full swing. The batter will "drag bunt" which will get him out of the box more quickly. I'm just starting to play around with this and am having some success.
