Robbie2K
FOR MVP BASEBALL 2005 Ever grown tired of the ball not getting put in play, predictable at-bats, AI jacking homeruns off your pitches about 80% of the time, and want action that's a mixture of arcade and realism, and remain a challenge? Robbie2K has you covered! Also helps encourage battling at the plate, especially with the increase in foul balls, you'll generate a lot of hype at-bats! The reason why check swing frequency should be set to either off or low is because in my opinion, the cutscene breaks up the pace of the game, as I consider tapping the swing button as an "aggressive take" (as long as you don't go around lol.) - Infield: More fluid throwing, like to turn a double play, and hard-hit ground balls will be harder to field. Better hustle on those plays! Because those runners have legs! - Outfield: Better chances of not letting up a triple in which a play would normally be a double, and hustle for liners. - Pitching: Offers more strategy into your pitches, so the CPU wouldn't homer off of you as much. Starting pitchers stay in longer to account for long at bats, and simply to reproduce real-life scenarios. The lesser control pitchers have on both sides makes pitching in your perfect spot more harder, really hone in your skills like real life pitching! - Baserunning: More action around the basepaths, and stealing is a much bigger gamble, especially with a strong armed catcher! - In general, while challenging, ensures the player is at equal level with the CPU. Notes - These sliders are based off of Pared's sliders with some modifications! - These are applicable to all versions of MVP Baseball 2005! - Feedback/Criticism is appreciated!
