Left Handed Hitter's power

Is it just me or do left handed hitters have more power than right handed hitters?. I know in last year's game there was a glitch that made lefties hit homeruns rarely. Obviously they've fixed the problem this year but it seems like the lifties have more power than the righties. Playing a spring training schedule as the jays, Frank Catalanotto and Cory Koskie are lighting pitchers up while Vernon Wells isn't:).

actually, I find it to be pretty even.

I play as the TIgers and I am nearing the end of the first season, Rodriguez has 35 HR's(RH), Sanchez has 27 or so (LH), Monroe has about 22-25(RH), Inge 20(RH)...Guillen 29 maybe(LH)..

So, I am thinking it is fair.

I find that my homeruns are too few and too concentrated.

Its early in my season to be fair, but..

Ramirez leads the league with 12 homers and hes on track for 67.

And then everyone else is just slow getting the homers.

Ortiz has about 4, Belhorn and Nixon have 2, Reinteria has 2, and then everyone else has either zero or one.

I find lefties and righties hitting equally well tho, depending on the pitching they face.
