superfan
What is the fastest and easiest way earn money in owner mode, so I can upgrade my stadium? I play on PS2 and also, is there some sort of code that can be done to get money faster? Is it true after you purchase all of the stadium options (concessions, stores, clelbrations, restaurants, etc. ) there is even more stuff that instantly becomes available, I herad this from my friend, he said that he read it from some website, is this true? wilmer007
He said PS2 not PC. And besides whoever uses ArtMoney has to because they can't make money legit. superfan just hang in there and make it to the playoffs. Also try and keep a Payroll around $100-$110 Million and play with a High Budget so you can get more money from the Media Contracts. Heres my Owner Mode setup with a bank of $24,799,640 entering the offseason after just completing year 2. Stadium Name: Marlins Stadium Upgrades: Level 2 Scoreboard Level 2 Seating Level 2 Fireworks Attractions: Batting Cage Concession Stands: Pizza 2 Soda 2 Popcorn 1 Peanuts 2 Ice Cream 2 Store Venues: Prospect Place Ticket Prices: Lower Deck: $45 3-4 Impact $50-$55 5-6 Impact $60 7+ Impact Upper Deck: $20 3-4 Impact $25 5-6 Impact $30 7+ Impact Field: $25 3-4 Impact $30 5-6 Impact $35 7+ Impact Concession Prices: Pizza $2.00 Soda $2.50 Popcorn $1.00 Peanuts $2.50 Ice Cream $3.00 Store Prices: Team Jackets $100.00 Sweatshirts $30.00 T-Shirts $10.00 With this setup i make anywhere from $500k+ for low impact games 700k+ high impact games and $1+ Million for the playoffs after all the expenses. I also have an average of about 21,000+ every game too since i do promotion days almost all the time even for high impact games too. Concession Stands make about $60,000 a game which i'm not sure is high but the real money comes from the tickets. I remember this last playoff game i just played a few days ago where it was Game 7 of the World Series and i charged $75 for Lower Deck and i got 100% Sold and got a Revenue of $900k on Lower Deck alone. The Daily Fiances said on that game i made a profit of $1.5 Million Dollars so concession profits don't really matter when your making plenty of money from Tickets. wilmer007
Thanx man Is there anyway to change the budgets during season?I dont want to start over again cause i got mine on medium. Nope. Just start over it's not big deal. I started owner mode at least 5 times trying out different things before i finally found a way to make money. Trust me start over, get a high budget keep the payroll to around $100-$110 million and then in the offseason look for some good freakin free agents that you can get really cheap and if you can't reload and try again but just make sure you save right after the playoffs and before the off season begins so that different free agents can appear every time. I remember on the first try i signed Willy Mo Pena who has outstanding batting attributes and i got him for 900k a year for 3 years. And then i got another guy for 300k a year for 3 years. And both guys have much better attributes than my 2 OF's that i dropped my $4 Million a year RF and replaced him with Willy Mo Pena. That saved $3.1 Million a year right there and then i dropped my LFder and saved another $2 Million or so a year. So when you think about it i replaced a $6 Million a year combo for a $1.2 Million combo in which one guy plays every day and the other guy is the DH/PH/2 Player backup. Pretty good tradeoff if i do say so myself. Also i doubt your gonna wanna do this but a big reason why i have success at owner mode is because i simulate every single home game more than once. I simulate each game with different things each time like trying different promos, lowering prices, basically i force that game to make more ticket revenue than the previous home game. Now of course if the previous home game was a 7 Impact and the current one is a 5 Impact i won't make more ticket revenue than the previous game no matter how hard i try but if there the same impact i do it and it's a big key to succeeding in Owner Mode. And although i've heard people say not to give the same promo constantly and no promos for the big impact games that is a big lie. I've done the same promotion 2 days in a row and more people have come to the second game than the previous game. And a few days ago i did a Kid's Baseball Glove Promotion for Games 6 and 7 of the World Series. In Game 6 i made a ticket Reveue of $1,418,000 and Game 7 made $1,513,000 so clearly 2 promos in a row doesn't hurt you. And at the same time you attendance goes up. Game 6 had an attendance of 24,834 and Game 7 had 24,829 and the max attendance was 25,000 so it was almost a full house. So remember all these things i've said and you'll have success at Owner Mode
