nittanylionfan3
I was wondering if you guys think that every college baseball team should start playing at the same time, instead of having the Western and Southern teams play like twenty teams before the Northern teams play a single game. And when they start, they play like thirteen games on the road.
ntdgg711
It makes sense the way they do it now. Western and Southern college teams have the luxury of great weather all year round. Thus, they're able to practice outside thru the winter, and also are able to start playing games earlier. The teams in the north have to practice indoors for a long time. And when they start the season, they have to play 13 road games first so they can travel South or West to where the weather is nice enough to play in March. Otherwise the weather wouldn't be nice enough to play probably until April. By the way, Dluxe, I'm a big Illinois fan (my brother is a lefty pitcher on the team), so look out for them in the Big Ten this year. I think they're gonna surprise some people.
