Okay, click import and them go into MVP Baseball 2005/data/database and then it should import it. Save it as roster.mbe At this point it's important that you make a backup copy of the original roster file from the database folder. Now you can make your changes. When you're done making your changes save your roster.mbe and then click export. Then click MVP Baseball 2005/data/database then click okay. That's all there is to it.

MVPEdit is a great program, but it's very sensitive. Screw up and it crashed on you. Makes sure you know what you're doing. If you don't just ask.

There is a detailed guide on what MVPEdit does and how to use it within the directory. It is like a readme.txt type file........ hopefully that can help.

But to answer you question on how to make your rosters the default rosters in the game - you export your .mbe roster file from MVPEdit to the data/database directory (have to point to that specific directory in the window when it asks) then once in the game go to Roster Management and do the Reset Rosters function.

'04 face is to indicate if the face is one carried over from 2004. You can distinquish the difference easily by turning on the face in the options tab so it will be visible. In the game it makes a difference depending on what level of detail you are playing with.
