Snake65
I was hoping that someone that runs this site could start a petition of things that we want to see in future installments. For me I have one major problem. That is the inability to control others teams. For example I played as the Mets last year and I could never beat the Marlins. I didn't make the playoffs after a 162 season so there was no way for me to control any other teams during the remainder of the season. This needs to be fixed so we can jump around and play any other games durning the season and post season. Anyone agree or care?
MarkB
And what exactly would that accomplish? Some people want stuttering fixed. Some people want the ability to control other teams. Some people want Rule 5 Drafts and 40-man rosters come September. Some people want full, accurate and complete minor league teams. Some people want scabs included in the game with their real names etc. Some people want a better in-game editor. Some people want better crowds. Some people want better brawls. My point is that just because you want it doesn't mean you'll get it. Even if EA did all of this stuff, there would be more complaints. They simply can't win. And to top it all off, there is only a 0.001% chance of EA actually making an MLB game next year, if that. So none of it really matters, does it? NYM
First of all what you are starting is a wishlist for a game that wont be coming out. A petition would be: Dear EA SPORTS, You should not let T2 take the MLB rights. If a certain amount of people say so, could you fix the problem? From, (person) Its not the best example of a petition but hopefully someone gets the point?
McDiddy
I dunno... I never liked petitions. 99.9% of the time they dont accomplish anything.
The Big Unit
Forgive me for not paying attention over the past year or so, but why isn't EA making a baseball game next year? I thought I had heard that they signed a deal with the MLBPA. Or am I mistaken?
McDiddy
A company named Take-Two bought the MLB licensing. Technically that means EA cant make a game in 2006, but I think they still can.
AcousticNut
From what I understand (from what has been stated elsewhere on this board), since the game is already in development it can be released. But, it must be released by a certain date. I'm sure somebody can go into a little more detail.... BTW: Add Arbitration, Minor League Options, and stepping out of the batter's box to the wish list. MalibuKiller
the only sense i see is to get a petition for support of mvp baseball 2005 as long as a new mlb game comes out from ea because it will take 7 years for a new mlb game by ea wich makes it to 2013 so why dont they support there latest mlb product ?...well ea seems not to have that great eye on costumer support.... thats bad
philliesphan18
How bout NCAA baseball for PC? Think of what our modders could do with that!!
Hoop27
I believe that EA has a deal with the NCAA that they wouldn't make PC games with the NCAA in it. not sure why though.

hello
A piece of paper saying that a lot of people want some game to come back wont make EA change their mind about MVP. If they decided to not release new versions of the game (or not sign a deal with the players union) it means they were losing money of the MVP series. And no amount of people can change EA's mind if it has to do with money.
stinger4life
its not that they were losing money its that the license they got in return was much bigger of a money maker...they have the NFL license.
