KSM MOD and the Homerun

I just blasted one with Hee Seop Choi. I think all you need to do is bump up the user power sliders. I'm getting pretty realistic games now with the KSM Mod and playing around with sliders, things aren't as easy as before. Just wait for the right pitch and of course, the right batter, you can do it. :o

I'm playing with power sliders on 0, and I've hit 6 homers in 3 games with the Pirates on All-Star level. So, no I'm not having a problem. I'm going to play a few more and may even bump the power slider down slightly.

I've found the other datafiles to be a little too homer-friendly and like the way KSM is playing.

Neil,

My batting average was terrible when I first installed this mod as well (under .200). I found that the outfielders were VERY fast, so they were often grabbing shots down the line and in the gap that should have been base hits, doubles, and even triples.

I found the mod played much better when I dropped the CPU Outfield speed to -14. It won't help your HR #'s, but it should help your overall power #'s and average by allowing you to get more extra-base hits.
