Morhaky
Is there any way to compress files without using BigGUI? I ask because BigGUI doesn't seem to want to compress files anymore. I import a file, then compress it -one at a time- and the program closes on me. When I open up my models.big and look at the uncompressed files, nothing has changed. This is really a headache because the program worked fine until yesterday. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
amuroray2000
I get that, too. Every time I compress a file and close the program, then open it up again, it suddenly becomes uncompressed again. It's really bad because it's causing my game to crash.
Morhaky
I have to keep trying to compress the files over and over until it works. For example my 447 files were giving me trouble. So first I did the fsh, then orl, then the ord files (in that order), that got it to work...took a while. The program seems works when it wants to. Morhaky
Scratch that, game is still crashing even though the files say compressed. All my cyberfaces used to work now they don't. Highly frustrating.
AG--
My favorite way is gfxpak. I understand your problem, biggui never compressed for me. To compress with this just use a .bat file saying... gfxpak -compress -real currentfilename newfilename Just keep the filenames the same if you don't want to change it. Good luck. five
You can also use eazip. That one is good, if you need to compress a bunch of files at the same time. It allows wild cards.
Kriegz
If you are modding things the nfshtool works great but the way five said works good if you are just installing things
