Compressing Files?

Is there any way to compress files without using BigGUI? I ask because BigGUI doesn't seem to want to compress files anymore. I import a file, then compress it -one at a time- and the program closes on me. When I open up my models.big and look at the uncompressed files, nothing has changed. This is really a headache because the program worked fine until yesterday. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I have to keep trying to compress the files over and over until it works. For example my 447 files were giving me trouble. So first I did the fsh, then orl, then the ord files (in that order), that got it to work...took a while. The program seems works when it wants to.

My favorite way is gfxpak. I understand your problem, biggui never compressed for me. To compress with this just use a .bat file saying...

gfxpak -compress -real currentfilename newfilename

Just keep the filenames the same if you don't want to change it. Good luck.
