Dynasty/Owner Mode is Terrible!!!!

I love the game and the gameplay is fantastic, but after 5-6 years in dynasty mode, half the players are as good as albert pujols. It takes no skill whatsoever to get good prospects. All you have to do is sign a crapload of young FA in the offseason and in 4 years you have 50 barry bonds. Could a patch fix this? it really, really ruins the game!

Bill is working on it.

i went to the 3rd on one of my dynastys, and while the "average" player seems to be getting a lot better, i havnt noticed the player progression get as out of hand as youre saying.

so what has happened? are there really half of your players up in the 90s in hitting ratings or was that an exaggeration?

by the 6th year of my dynasty i had marcus giles as my backup 2b and he had 100 contact vs righties( or maybe lefties i cant remember). But yea, everyone was out of hand. David Wright was 100 and 98 vs right handers and was on the bench cus i had some cpu created guy named mercker that had 100 speed and 100 contact vs lefty and 90/80 almost everything else. Its almost unplayable and it takes away any strategy. The best example is the fact that no one in the 2005 season had over 98, 99 (thats just pujols, bonds, guerrero) After 5 years in franchise i had like 6 guys on my team that had 98-100 as atleast one of their hitting attributes. Then on top of that guys like maur had 100 and 100, and many catchers were as good as pudge. There were waaay too many good ss. By 2013 my team was better than the mvp legends... I mean did no one at EA test this aspect of the game? It is so incredibly obvious... did none of the reviewers bother to go far into dynasty? Dynasty allows you to go 125 and owner allows 30 years. I only went 8-9 at the most and everyone on my team (and the rest of the league) was albert pujols.

How the heck did you play 5-6 years in like a month.

so if everyone is as good as albert pujols - surely the league was still hard to play in - as everyone would be getting good hittings numbers when you pitched?

im sure your exaggerating a little bit?;)

ive simmed in too 2010 - and tbh i havent seen players stack up that bad - of course there are stars - but not a league full

all i can say weird that happened was the brewers taking the WS in 2009 lol

I simmed....

as for your point about everyone being better Lual... that is true to a certain degree, but it makes the game really unrealistic from a statistical standpoint. Also, certain pitcher (randy johnson etc) are incredibly hard to hit no matter what hitter you have. know that there are way more randy johnsons, it makes hitting much harder. Also, all hitters can now take advantage of every mistake you make... def need a fix.

He probably plays on pro and jacks everything with everyone on his team. Plus, he only gave 2 examples, Marcus Giles and David Wright, two stars. I mean, of course they are gonna be big, but until you show me someone like Omar Vizquel that hits out 30+ HR's a game, i think your full of it.
