Ya I have the same problem, i can get the studdering to go away if I put it at lower settings. Basically patch #2 didn't do squat for me. I had a little studdering before, and a little studdering now.

Yep. We need more info. What are your specs?

The patch worked perfectly for me. Don't forget to up your AA and AF, turn on vsync and you should be super smooth.

I have the same issue. I only had minor stuttering before and it is still mostly there. Although some things seem smoother i still get a couple noticable stutters and its not because of framerates. I have:

P4 1.8ghz

512MB RAM

ATI9700 pro

Win XP pro

Audigy 2 ZS

Catalyst 5.3

I play @1280x1024@60hz w/ AA and AF both to 2x and Vsynch on. My Frame rate doesnt drop below 30 and does cap out id say about 40% of the time. Most of the time its between 35-50.

Turn off AF and AA and try it.

I'd love to get frame rates above the 20's!! even after the patch it isn't that much better

3.1ghz with H/t

512 Ram

ATI 9700 mobility 128 mb

If i turn off AA and AF, the grass is absolutely horrendous!!! With them cranked, i can deal with it.

I have a little suttering yet. I have been futsing with the options and can't get perfectly smooth play unless I turn down the graphics a little.

I play with AF on 8x, cause that gets rid of the shuddering grass and at 800x 640x 32 or somthing like that. AA is off and Vsync is on.

Another note is that I have a laptop, so I can't turn the refresh rate on the monitor past 60 hertz which I think might be the prob

specs

3.2 ghz pentium

geforce nvidia 5200

512 hard drive

I tried some various settings, and i am still getting the minor stutters. It is very playable, but a little stuttering is noticeable. Seems to play the best at 1280x1024@60hz w/ AA and AF at 4x. I tried higher AA, but it was fairly choppy. At 1024x768@75 the game runs the same for me some minor stutters mainly on high fly balls and throws across the infield. I also tried messing around w/ my PCI latency. By default its set at 255 which is way too high. If you goto guru 3d, look for PCI Latency tool. You need to change the VGA compatible controller one. A good rule is to match it w/ the amount of RAM on your vid card first, or even half the RAM on your vid card. Changing this did wonders for alot of people in games like Hlaf life 2.

I have only minor stuttering

I use a Radlinker mod to adjust AA and AF and I turned vsync on in the game and in the ATI control screen

How do I measure frame rates?

Also, how do I adjust the refresh rate in the game

All I can see the set is vsync and resloution

I have my monitor set at 75 hz and I dont have the grass prob but I do have minor stuttering on grounders - mostly at the beginning of the game
