bbythepier
ditto The H (Can lead to some low scoring games, though)
The H
bbythepier, Tell me about it... though for me it provides a really balanced set of results... I get into quite a few close games, but also several scoring feasts when my pitchers aren't having a good day thanks to the 'variable stuff' and the 'variable strike zone/blown calls' factors. jbmagicfan
the H how many walks you issue average with spitoon datafile, strikezone off, hot/cold zone off, pitch cursor off? and how many walks you get for your batters average?
The H
jbmagicfan, I get between 3-5 walks when batting (sometimes more)... it really depends on how patient I'm on the plate (I can get very streaky sometimes and swing at everything they throw at me). Now, pitching wise, it can easily vary... I've had games where I haven't given up a single walk, but there's been others where I gave up 6-8 (combined between all the pitchers I use for those games), again, depending on how effective or not my pitcher' stuff is that day. chriskey01
I have strikezone off, pitching cursor off, hot/cold zones on fade, and controller vibration on. It's on All-star level as well.
AcousticNut
wow playing with pitcher cursor off with no strikezone is so hard. how you guys do it? Practice... practice... practice.... I thought the same thing when I first thought about going to this setup, but once you get used to it the experience is fantastic. Prepare to get knocked around for a few games, but soon you'll be painting the corners again. I am playing with Spitoon's walk mod as well and will typically give up between 1 - 4 walks per game. Moreso than the walks are the balls that you leave closer to the middle of the plate than you would like. Makes for some great games.
