capa
Was wondering if we could get a list of the first 100 teams that have been, or will be submitted to Fuzz for the first Classics release? Don/Tony/Fuzz - do you guys have a confirmed list yet? C
AlexTony
'Thank You' Stecropper for putting this list together remember fellas no matter what teams are in we will not get ALL that everybody wants. what each person may have to do is replace a team or two as long as they have a serviceable .met file also, more than likely, each person may have to load the teams pics to see the players of their choice. remember, there are only so many spots for pics. most should fit into the portrait.big file. but, not all i will have upgraded team/player pics and send them in to mvp mods so all can DL and put into via mvp edit this is a GREAT selection of teams & players!!! stecropper
The only one on this list that is definitely out "for now" is the '77 Reds due to a conflict. It is in the process of being recreated for inclusion with possibly Version 1 or later Versions perhaps. Remember only 90 of these will make the Version 1 Total Classics. We still encourage all others to send in their rosters to add to this list and we also hope that once Version 1 is released that many of you will improve on the teams included in Version 1 for upcoming Versions of Total Classics. Thanks to Everyone, Don

MiJO
I can't see who would rather have the '69 mariners and the '97 M's when the '95 and 01' teams would be a better choice. But don't mind me, I was born and raised on Mariner baseball in Seattle.
stecropper
MiJO, Please provide us those rosters and they will have an excellent chance of making it into a future release of Total Classics. Total Classics is built on the Teams individuals have built and provided. Thus, the availability of teams for Total Classics is solely a factor of what Teams were built by individuals and that is normally the teams those individuals personally liked. So it appears that the Teams you really like have not been a personal favorite of those contributing to Total Classics in the past. Take Care, Don

capa
the only angels world series team 2002 isn't included?! One of the reasons for that may be that the undertaking here was to sort of include the older classic teams from previous decades. The Angel 2002 team was a very good one, but not one that comes to mind when you think about oldtime classic teams. I agree that they would be a good inclusion into the follow-on release. fuzzone
i like how you guys justify every team how come the 2004 boston red sox aren't in the total classics? They just broke the curse!! THEY SHOULD BE IN TOTAL CLASS--oh wait, sorry.
Jim825
From above: '27 Yankees Chris/Tony '41 Yankees TC3 '53 NYY Tony '61 Yankees Chris '77 NYY Tony '78 Yankees TC3 '85 Yankees TC3 '96 Yankees TC3 '98 Yankees TC3 '00 NYYankees TC3 Does "TC3" stand for TotalClassics 3 (from MVP2004) and signify that the team is simply being converted from MVP2004 to MVP2005 (rather than having to be done from scratch)? Tony - I'm glad to see that the '77 Royals and '77 Yankees are being worked on. I toyed with the idea of creating those two teams (and some other late 70's teams) last year for TotalClassics 3, but just ran out of time. Some of my fondest baseball memories are from that era, during my high school years (when life was simple -- before the stress of diapers, mortgage payments, etc.) I can still remember racing home after school to watch the 1-game playoff between the Red Sox and the Yankees in 1978.... fuzzone
jim -- teams from 2004 are being used in 2005 with the exception of 5-7 teams which have been done from scratch. also, last year was only 55 teams, this years first release will be 60 teams in AAA,AA and then following releasing will finish off the Single A and then off with the MLB. we're looking at a 120 teams i think. 120 logo sets, a boatload of portraits and uniforms and some extra cool stuff we'll be adding this year. IM TALKING ABOUT REAL mind blowing cool STUFF. lol, you wait and see. and no kinky installer, lol i promise.
