cptman
Just wondering if anyone is adjusting their sliders after they installed the new patch? Seems like the defense needs to be lowered since they are too fast. Just curious. I lowered my setting some.
big shmooz
I always play my infielder speed at - 42 (on all modes) I don't know how I can go much lower than that anyway. I have edited my datafile also to slow them down, since I had a problem that balls that were not hit that hard would roll all the way to the wall (just like last years game). So I went in to the datafile & made the ball travel slower & i slowed down my infielders to make sure they would not be able to get to every ground ball now. (that some can get through to the outfield) This I did before the patch came out, so unless I go to the datafile & edit it to even slower, (which I guess I can do if I want to) within the game sliders themselves I don't have too much leeway anymore. thr33niL
I still use Pared's sliders but they do seem to need tweaking.
donjn
Turn VSync on.
mrtuck73
I had to slow down the speed of outfielders and infielders after the patch (and VSync is definately turned on!) since they were moving a little faster. The most obvious times are when a fly ball is hit to the outfield and the fielder behaves more like they did in last year's game, where they would fly across the screen to the location to make the catch and then stand there waiting for the ball. I have seen good results so far by lowering the speed on All Star by 15.
AcousticNut
I too bumped both my Outfielder and Infielder speed down, but I had it that way prior to the patch as well. I believe I'm at about -11 for OF speed and -1 or -2 for IF speed.

I am used to playing at 100 hz in all my games including MVP. So for me this was an issue post patch 2. But now I have given up & play at 60 hz (which is what the game defaults to) & the game is smooooth & just the right speed. (bit of flickering, but it's either that or freaky fast speed gameplay)

KenDammit
anyone know what to do about super fast baserunners? I'm hitting triples out the buttocks now because I get this....outrageous speedburst between bags and its almost impossible to throw me out. I've done the whole v sync thing, 60Hz, all of that, but I still have super fast runners, so whats the solution?
