    • Yes, it may take a while, but it will come eventually.

    • No, there are too many intricacies that the average gamer doesn't care about.

When MS bought the rights to the High Heat series (or maybe it was when 3DO announced they were selling the rights, I forget), and then did absolutely nothing with them, I was hoping they'd release them into the public domain or sell them to some kind of open source project.

As soon as the name "Microsoft" came up, you knew any chance of that was gone... still, it would be nice if one of these competing companies would consider it. If nothing else, it would be a great PR move, would open up a world of possibilities for the gaming industry and it would detract from Turn2's sales (or whoever the hell it is).

I'm usually a pretty negative person but I will say even though there is no such thing as a "perfect" baseball game per se, MVP 2005 is as close as you can get to perfect (to me).

Planning on watching tomorrow night's Yankees-Red Sox game? Well in MVP unless you decide to control one of these teams for an entire season, you can't see this game.

Because MVP limits your baseball universe to your team only, you miss 95% of what goes on in the league. You can't even view highlights or see the boxscores of other games. Perfect? Not even close.

a few things that i would like in a game during season mode...bp like they do in real life, you can say when you're done and if your players don't get enough or too much, their engery would be zapped for the day or longer. plus, your players can earn star points (like tiny compared to the game), for signing autographs, etc. it could possibly boost their game engery. of course the reverse can happen as well if the fans are rude and puts the players morale down, and if they keep refusing autographs, they may eventually get jerk status and lose their temper more. but that sounds a bit rpg'ish though...

the elements of bp would be batting, pitching, tossing, and outfield. there would be a few things going on there.

and also like madden, papers, etc about the team, mabye celebrity apperances scheduled for the players, like real life. mabye check their to do list during off days in owner mode. the intangibles of life as a ballplayer.
