golfguy10
Anybody else notice Krukow will say " I would throw to 1st base just to see if the guy is stealing..." this occurs when the next inning starts and nobody is on? There are other inconsistencies but they are not thast big of a deal.
thetruth10
I've had them announce the wrong things before. Can't remember the exact situation though.

jogar84
my solution is turn off the announcing and let ur kid brother do it.
duckdodger215
does anyone else hear his voice crack half the time? "...come and get it big bOY"
mrg1
yeah, the announcing isnt all that great Have you ever noticed that if a team is down by a run, bases empty, and the camera goes to the man in the ondeck circle, the anouncer says, "this guy will be the go-ahead run when he steps up to the plate" Uh, what if the guy in the batters box, yknow, grounds out? duh
RiceBoy
"Slider just missed" when the pitcher threw a splitter. "The pitcher doesn't want to fall anymore behind than he already is, so he is likely to throw something over the plate for a strike. Having said that, this might be the perfect time for a hit and run" is so longwinded, that the pitcher has usually thrown 2 more pitches by the time he finishes saying it. "Even though the pitcher has his back up against the wall, he digs deep, makes great pitches and he gets the strikeout." The count went 0-1, 0-2, then the strikeout, not to mention it's another longwinded comment. "Third strike sends him back to the dugout with nothing to show for his AB." Uh, isn't that obvious, since he struck out? And how many times has Krukow "recently" sung at Wrigley Field. 100 years into your dynasty, these guys will still be alive and announcing, and Krukow has still recently sung at Wrigley. thr33niL
I wish there was a way to just turn Krukow off. Ever get him to say the same exact thing on back to back pitches? Love it when he says something like .."they better have the bullpen ready cause this guy has none stuff".. THEN on the very next pitch he says something like "This guys a horse and expects to pitch to the ninth inning every time out". :|

Garrett67
I always hear 'If there was any good time to bunt, it would be right now' (or somethign like that), but of course, the bases would be empty and the guy up is slow as molasses

Love it when he says something like .."they better have the bullpen ready cause this guy has none stuff".. He's said this after my pitcher threw 1 pitch to the 1st batter in the 1st inning. In the same situation, he's also said, "This guy is all over the place, and the batters are going to make him throw a strike." Or it's the 7th inning and I'm losing with the score at a very close 1-0, "I'm sure he came out today with the intention of having a good game, but hey, that's baseball." thedrock
if you think krukow is bad in the game, try listening to him for real.
stahr
When a guy bobbles a catch in the outfield, but still makes it, he often says something along the lines of "he couldn't come up with it". It makes me cringe everytime. Or on the second ptch of the game and he says "this guys got none stuff". WTF?
Bowditch
At least this year (so far) I haven't heard "he really FISTED that one!." I got entirely inappropriate giggles whenever I heard that.
golfguy10
So the unofficial tally is........ Krukow sucks and shut the announcing off. I guess asking EA for a patch would be asking too much? After all - we only paid for the game. Play Ball! Still a good game!
thetruth10
yeah. its horrible. i realize its a video game and the commentary is going to get old and boring after a while, but its just inexcusable to have krukow constantly saying stuff thats completely wrong or makes no sense in the situation, or repeating lines on back to back pitches. Every time I've noticed that last comment being made, it's in reference to the batter, not the pitcher. If someone goes 0-3 or 0-4, or even 0-5, he'll say that. RedSoxFox7
The biggest announcing error I've noticed is that they're NEVER right about switch hitters. If they say he's better from the right side of the plate, he's actually better from the left side against right handed pitchers. If they say he's better from the left side of the plate, he's actually better from the right side against lefty pitchers.
iancr22
Krukow and Kuiper are great. It isnt their fault the programmers made it so their comments come out at weird times. So dont be dissing em!!
MarkB
You guys think those are bad? I just heard these while playing a Legends vs. Heroes game (Paraphrased as I remember them): Nolan Ryan: "This guy doesn't strike out many batters, but he finds a way to get guys out." For those who don't know, Nolan Ryan holds the all-time record for most batters struck out through a career. Babe Ruth: "This guy won't win any batting titles." Yeah, I mean, he's only one of the best hitters in baseball history.
Disastros
"This guy doesn't strike many batters out when on the hill" - goes on to strike out 15 guys. The other, I hit a homer with Pujols, then I hit one with Baldelli (next pitch) and he says "Towering shot from Pujols" (or something similar).
