Craig Counsell has the weirdest batting stance in the history of baseball! I can't help but wonder if he wouldn't be a .340 hitter if he got more normal. He did, however, wear out my Tigers during our designated rivalry this year, but when I'm playing MVP 2005, I can't wait for the guy to come up. "All right, it's Counsell! All blue zones. Where to start, where to start..........fastball under the arms?...........two seamer away and low?" Decisions, decisions, all with the same results. He would be good at killing bugs on the ceiling, though.

The wierdest batting stance I have ever seen would have to go to Jim Leyritz. Frank Catalanatto's is also strange.

Frankie does that because he had eyes problems and he needs to have his stance open at delivery to see the ball. Watch his eyes next time you see him at bat. Catalanotto is a good hitter, so you can't really nock him, but I do see your point.

First off, Sierra's stance is badass, the way he taps his feet and the way he come out of the box after hitting a homer. Same goes for Shef, he just looks so intimidating up there. And I was always worried about Leyritz's leg snapping in half when he was up there, it looked weird. But I'd say Counsel's stance is pretty annoying

When I played Boys Club ball, I decided to bat like Julio Franco. I struck out. My coach came over and told me that I looked like a "******" in the batter's box.

I never did that again. I didn't even know what one of those was then.

EDIT: And now you'll never know either! The masked censor strikes again!
