camus
I suppose I'll post my dynasty as well. Here's the Orioles: (I'll post their statistics when I have some free time) Lineup 2B: Brian Roberts 3B: Melvin Mora SS: Miguel Tejada RF: Sammy Sosa CF: Ken Griffey Jr. C: Javy Lopez DH: Rafael Palmeiro 1B: Brad Wilkerson LF: Larry Bigbie Bench C: Geronimo Gil UTI: David Newhan OF/1B: BJ Surhoff IF: Chris Gomez SP1: Rodrigo Lopez SP2: Sidney Ponson SP3: Daniel Cabrera SP4: Erik Bedard (Eric Dubose was injured and put on 60 day DL) SP5: John Maine LR: Rick Bauer MR: Jason Grimsley MR: Ray King MR: Eddy Rodriguez SU: Steve Kline SU: Jorge Julio CL: BJ Ryan I'm now in the world series, 1-0 up on the Astros. I finished with about 109 wins on legend difficulty. Ottawa won the international league championship, and my Frederick Keys are cruising to a sweep in their championship series. *Early on I traded Bruch Chen (LHP) to the Reds for Robert Stratton. I needed some extra muscle on my AAA team and he led the International league in homers with 29. *I forget who I traded (an AAA pitcher) to the Angels for Casey Kotchman. He hit cleanup for Ottawa the rest of the year. *I traded Luis Matos (and if I remember correctly an AAA or AA player) to the Reds for Griffey. With such a hefty contract, the Reds gave Griffey up easily. He then won a Gold Glove for me in CF and hit 30 homeruns. *I traded Jay Gibbons and an AA pitcher to the Nationals for Brad Wilkerson. I needed better defense at first and wanted a little extra speed at the bottom of the lineup. *I traded James Baldwin (AAA) to the Cardinals for Ray King. I needed another lefty specialist since I demoted the 5.00era+ John Parrish. BJ Ryan won the Cy Young with a 2.02 era, 58 saves, and about 70 strikeouts. I went 3-1 against the White Sox in the division series, then sweeped the Red Sox. I just destroyed the Astros 10-1 in the opening game of the World Series. I just wish this game didn't get so easy so quickly. But, I always have that problem with sports game, just like Madden. In the offseason I don't plan on resigning Sosa or Palmeiro. Hopefully there will be an Ace pitcher in the FA list. Also, I'll either go for a pure speed leadoff man to take over center and move Griffey to RF, or get another power hitting 1B with a good glove (S. Casey) or swing a deal with A.Dunn who I covet, and move Wilkerson back to the outfield. Or just bring up the young kids (Majewski, Kotchman, Stratton). So there you go. This weekend I'll update on how I did with the world series, resignings, free agents, and the draft. Thanks for reading.

When you say Legends difficulty, do you mean MVP? Because if I recall, their isn't a Legends difficulty. Please correct me if I'm wrong. P.S. I'm not trying to be a smart @$$, this is a actual question.

camus
Well, here's a quick update. I won the world series against the Astros 4-3. Ottawa (AAA) and Frederick (A) both won their respective titles. Like I said I was going to, I released Sammy Sosa and Rafael Palmeiro after the season, and made some nice FA pickups. I'm going to have my playesr switch all around because I added nice depth and some guys who can play many positions. Here's my lineup going into the start of spring training: Vs. RHP: CF - Chone Figgins (FA) 3B - Melvin Mora SS - Miguel Tejada DH - David Ortiz (FA) C - Javy Lopez RF - Ken Griffey Jr. 1B - Brad Wilkerson LF - Larry Bigbie 2B - Brian Roberts Vs. LHP 2B - Chone Figgins 3B - Melvin Mora SS - Miguel Tejada DH - David Ortiz 1B - Javy Lopez RF - Ken Griffey Jr. LF - Brad Wilkerson C - Michael Barrett (FA) CF - David Newhan Bench: C - Michael Barrett (FA) UTI - David Newhan INF - Luis Gonzalez OF - Val Majewski / Tim Raines JR I may pick up Placido Polanco to compete for the starting 2B job or just more depth, and let Newhan be the primary Outfield substitute. Speed on the bench is lovely, but I might also need to use another spot there and pick up a power hitting pinch hitter. Rotation: 1 - Rodrigo Lopez 2 - Sidney Ponson 3 - Joel Pineiro 4 - Daniel Cabrera 5 - Erik Bedard / John Maine / Eric Dubose I also added depth to my AAA team.
