KerryW
Same here.... Does anyone actually know how to install this? I mean, what am I supposed to do exactly to install FOX's pitching camera #2, or one of the ESPN ones? I only see the 5-8 camera datafiles.... tks
I installed and reviewed each datafile (Fox5-8 Level 1 and Fox5-8 Level 2)...Each Fox 5 through 8 contained three datafiles (Ball Zoom cam datafile...High fielding cam datfile...Low fielding cam datafile). So there are 12 datafiles in Level 1 and 12 datafiles in Level 2. There are some very interesting fielding views and some excellent batting views but there are visual problems in the pitchers view.... When there are runners on base and a left handed batter, the PIP (available with or without runners depending on the datafile) covers the pitch meter making it almost impossible in certain situations to know when to release the pitch. This would not occur if the PIP didn't switch to the left side when a left handed batter was at the plate....but for some reason the PIP view was switched and as a result you have a very tough time determining when to release the pitch. Some excellent work but the PIP/overlay pitch meter problem IMO is a definite restriction in using these files....Too bad because otherwise there are some really interesting views. I figured Level 2 would be more difficult pitching wise than Level 1 but I really didn't see much of a difference in the limited amount of time I had to look at all 24 datafiles. capa
Agreed...I really really appreciate KSM's efforts, but I find myself overwhelmed by his releases...there is just too much to look at and test...so I have been sticking with his 0.5 release believe it or not. I think that one plays the most realistically and the camera views are fine for the way I play. C
ezdriver
Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but this v3 only contains the FOX views(?). In his included screenshots, I saw a couple of ESPN views that looked like they had potential, but only FOX files were actually included in the .rar. Maybe I'm going crazy, but I didn't see ESPN. :? :? I agree with tks on FOX view 4(?), where the PIP hides the pitch meter when a runner is on base. Very distracting from an otherwise nice camera view. ez
tks
Discovered the answer to the KSM (v3) problem of having the base runner PIP cover up the pitch meter....This only occurs if you use the default pitch meter. However, KSM included a file which is a ingame overlay (using BigGui) that moves the pitch meter to a different location....Once you install this file, there is no visual conflict of having the PIP cover up the pitch meter. Still unresolved however, is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2....All the camera angles are identical so the difference between Level 1 and 2 must be in game difficulty...I have not yet determined which is the easier....Has anyone using these latest KSM datafiles discovered the difference?? lilloreo
I was under the impression was the pitch meter diffuculty(a la Trues pitch mod)
Jitter
I saw in the readme it was an allstar/mvp difficulty mod, so I thought maybe level 1 was for allstar, and level 2 was for MVP? I made a post about this in the other forum, but no one responded. I liked some of the batting cams, but I tried the zoom fielding one, that was kinda nuts. It made me dizzy. I couldnt even tell whether it was a grounder or fly or what. I lost all sense of orientation as to where the ball was going and what player was highlighted. spitoon
I was under the impression was the pitch meter diffuculty(a la Trues pitch mod) As far as I know, KSM does NOT use my pitch meter difficulty mod.
pstrickert
Do we have any Koreans on this board who speak English? If so, I wonder if one of them could serve as a translator for us. That way, we could get answers to our questions from KSM.
S_DOG34
Does anyone else have trouble hitting HRs with KSMs datafile (Im using 2.5 right now). I have some huge power guys (teixera, aramis ramirez, vlad, etc.) and I just cannot hit HRs after switching to his file.
