(my English is poor)

hi, I am rookie in MVP,

I played MVP with patch#1 and no problem, monitor 75Hz = nice

When I patched MVP patch#2, now my monitor blink (60Hz) => my eyes tired and I cant play

in windows I have 75Hz for every resoltion and every color depth, 640x480 - 1600x1200

If I play Madden2004, no problem, everywhere I have 75Hz

I hope you understand my question, my English is realy bad :(

--------------

question: can I play MVP patch#2 with higher frequency than 60Hz? If yes, how?

No, at the moment, we have to play at 60 Hz.

That's not entirely accurate five. If you have the 'fast forward' problem after applying patch 2, then you need to play at 60 Hz.

I don't have the 'fast-forward' problem, because I have a slow computer, so I am able to play at 85Hz with patch 2.

jonejo, you need to post your system specs. Especially, processor speed, and video card type. There are apps that allow you to override the refresh rate to whatever you want. I have an Nvidia card and I use 'ReForce'.

I just switched to 60Hz and there truly is a big difference. I have AA at 8xS and AF at 16x, and I played the game with everything maxed at 1280x1024@85Hz with vsynch on. I was averaging 43-45fps after Patch 2, and had the occasional jerkiness in-game (not really a stutter but rather more like the effect you get when you have low fps). I also experienced the fast-forward effect that spitoon referenced when fielders went for the ball. The game was pretty close to being a good experience, but not quite there yet.

I refused to do the 60Hz change because I had bad experience with it in the past, but I said "what the heck" and did it. All I have to say is "WOW". 8O The game now runs at normal animation speed, my fps are at a constant 60, and the game is now running smooth as warm butter. I highly recommend this change if you are having problems similar to mine.

ehm, I dont know what is "fast forward" problem.

My computer is no superb machine, I have AMD XP 2.5GHz, 512MB RAM, graphic card is "low-end" ATI Radeon 9200.

I play MVP 800x600x32.

If I play MVP Patch#1 = no problem, 75Hz, now I patched Patch#2 and I have 60Hz, maybe now game is flowing, but my priority is 75Hz, I have sensitive eyes => for me is 60Hz big problem, I am not able to concentrate on game. If I select 1024x766 no effect, still 60Hz

You have to use a program like reforce that allows you to override the refresh rate.

I first time hear about ReForce, good product. thanks.
