Yes, this is a double post (originally posted in the Support Forum a few days ago with no response)!!!!

Please read the following and let me know if this will work...............

I am having the post patch 2 issue where I can no longer play direct IP to IP online games with the difficulty set higher than Pro. This has caused an issue with a PC league I'm in where we play our games with the All Star difficulty. I want to be able to keep the patch 2 benefits (NO STUTTERING) but still be able to play in the league.

Here's my thought/question:

Can I setup a new Win-XP user account, log into it and install MVP2005 under this new user name without disturbing the other (original) install under my default user name ?? I'd only install patch #1 on this install and use this new Win-XP account to play my league games. Does anyone know if this will work ?? Can you have two separate installs of one game under different user accounts with each having it's own unique degree of modding?? I'm just trying to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling step, only applying patch # 1......way to many downloaded mods from this site to go crazy like that :?

I'd go ahead and try it, but dont want to mess up my initial install and all the mods that I have downloaded.

Any thoughts or facts about this ??

You probably don't even need to make a new account, just install it to a different directory and run it from there.

That's what I was going to say. Install it to Program Files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005(2) or somthing like that...The only other thing you'd have to do would be to save a separate season (if you're going to do a season), because both installs will use the folder in My Documents for season saves.
