MagikT20
I know its the fastball. But how fast have you gotten it to go? At Coors Field, pitch speed up to 50 with a created player I got a few pitches up to 106. my pitcher went a strong 1.1 innings until he blow his arm out. YankeexDev
holy, crap 106. I only got up to
Sean O
If you download MVP Edit, you can get any pitch up to 127. It's pretty entertaining, but the catcher can't even catch a perfect strike down the middle, and weak swings end up bashng the hell out of the ball. But it's pretty funny seeing a ball go that fast down the pike. I haven't tried putting the knuckle up to 127, but I bet that would be tremendous. MagikT20
So 127? Does that mean that a player can improve his fast ball to get that fast during Franchise? That would be awsome. Is there any Rosters that have a surprise player in the minors who can throw that fast.

JP_Frost
I believe Edwin Jackson will progress his fastball to about 100 - 101 mph I can't stand though that so many young pitchers end up throwing near a 100mph. It should be something that only belongs to a certain view. I understand that young guys progress and that their fastball might gain 1 or 2 miles extra, but this is getting ridiculous. Maybe if a guy has had a serious injury, it would be cool if they lose some velocity
dansaint
I hit 102 consistantly with Brad Lidge (I got him from the "stros to the Cubs for Keton, Dubois, and Derrek Lee)...plus he throws a 97MPH slder...he is 24-25 in save opportunities and has a 0.47 ERA
basballfanatik9
I throw 101 MPH with Josh Beckett on the first pitch of the game, after that, no pitched reached above 98 MPH.
Valiknicoff
Tigers Reliver Kyle Farnsworth will sometimes hit 100mph, or Troy Percival. But usually it's the 98 mph range.
