jbmagicfan
Are you seeing CPU attempting to steal bases when you play? i am hardly seeing it so far.
mflv
Very rarely but you can probably up the amount of stealing with the sliders. It's not as often as last year but probably as often as real life so I haven't bothered playing with the sliders myself yet.
McDiddy
They steal against me all the time. They're safe everytime too, because the stupid 2B doesnt know how to tag.
AcousticNut
I have the CPU steal slider jacked up to 50 and have a steal attempt every so often. Would like to see a little more though to add to the realism.
reznory
i'm using a version of pared's sliders and just played a series against the Indians. They ran quite often.

Haha...I know exactly what you're talking about. Sometimes, it seems as if the catcher doesn't even know how to throw straight to second base. endeavor
They steal against me all the time. They're safe everytime too, because the stupid 2B doesnt know how to tag. know what you mean there, hehehe. Drove me nuts. Well, meanwhile I get them, at least 60% of the time, by going up on the right analog controller. I used to go right, or down right all the time, he makes a slightly quicker move when you go up. The H
endeavor, Hmmm... that's an interesting tip... I will have to try that.
Shoeless Bob
Yeah, the computer is stealing alot. I played the Jays season opening series against the Rays and Crawford and Baldelli stole three bags each against me. I caught Lugo twice trying to steal. I'm using Rev's latest roster and stock sliders. It may be time to trade for a catcher with a good arm.
five
I don't get it, you're saying to slide by just pressing up or when you throw it. I'm confused.

I'm confused. off topic: five that is one kick-*** avatar bud. on topic: on all-star I have it set at cpu steal rate: 15. Perfect blend, only steals with runners of 70 speed & agression minimum and ONLY when the situation warants it. IMHO, you don't need the cpu to steal more than once or twice a game if that.. basballfanatik9
The cpu is stealing a hell of a lot more then they were last year. In a game I get about 5 or 6 steal attempts, and I usually throw out about 2 or 3 of them.

Thanks for the compliment, made it last week, I have another version here. Also, I'll try adjusting my sliders to see if that helps.
