It likely has to do with a mod you installed, possibly a roster, but more likely a facepack or a uniform mod.

Replace the models.big file with the original and see if it continues to crash.

how do you replace the file?

Look on CD1 for a file called compressed.zip.

Copy and paste it to your desktop.

Right click the file when it's on your desktop and select "Extract all"...let it do that, then you should have a folder on your desktop called compressed. Navigate through that folder and you should find models.big.

Copy and paste models.big back into your /data folder and allow it to overwrite the old (messed up) one.

and ps what spitton said but, everytime you install something that works right and you like, make a copy of that modded models.big , portrait.big , inistaz.big, uniforms.big whatever the case may be. this way you won't have to go back to square one if something goes wrong.
