daltonjones
I can't find the words to describe the blunder EA has made once again with MVP. How can they not get Pitcher Fatigue right? The most dimm-witted baseball fan knows it takes a Starting Pitcher at least 3 to 4 days tops to be back at 100% How can they not get Pitcher Fatigue right? MetsDrummer
Why do you care? You could just not start them every 3 days. Just ignore it.

capa
Why does this even matter? If you use a 4 or 5 man rotation, he won't come up for his next turn until rested anyway! It is more aof an issue with relievers...not starters. But some relievers can go 2-3 days ina row, and others only once every 2 or 3 days. Annoying, but not that huge of a deal. Roscosuper
Hmm.....I don't know about '05....but last year in '04, even though the pitchers were at 100%, you were taking a gamble putting them in too soon..........I played as the mets last year, and by playing both Leiter and Glavine sooner then the 5 days, I put them both on the DL..........I can't say that this is conclusive enough, but I would be careful, especially with the older guys.......... Also, this year in '05, I blew out Glavines arm by trying to have him pitch a complete game........his stamina was still around 15%, but he threw about a 105 pitches.....the injury was an inflamed shoulder........again, I'm not sure if it means anything, but if I were to guess, I think the game "governs" things a bit......... daltonjones
There are sliders. And so...what would you set the "SLIDERS at to get realistic fatigue for pitchers....a bullpen closer can be used everyday without any drop in his pct. Show me the sliders that will help with this EA oversight. Someone also asked "Why do I care"? Why have any Pct then at all that won't work in tiring pitchers.... capa
dalton, I have to be honest., and I say this with all due respect...I don't think I have seen one post by you on any thread that was positive about this game. My question is, if there are so many shortcomings in it for you, why do you still play it? I do sense a very anti-EA sentiment in many of your posts, and that's fine. But it seems that the game has really let you down or not lived up to your expectations. That's ok too...but why still play then? C
daltonjones
Due Respect.....Anti-EA? What is that? EA is a Corperation that makes game software. I am a consumer. If you have read my posts here as you say you have I have nothing but praise for the Modders on this sight, because without them I would not "play the game" because out of the box this game lacks. Sorry....

Sorry.... It's not the modders you complain about...that was not my point. It is the game itself and EA. Period. You are free to post what you want, but it is fairly obvious you are disatisfied with EA and MVP2005 as delivered "out of the box". Just odd that you continue to play it since it is not really what you were seeking...and some of the mods do nothing to get it to the point you desire. AcousticNut
Due Respect.....Anti-EA? EA is a Corperation that makes game software. I am a consumer. Then you should probably be making this complaint to Electronic Arts and not to a board dedicated to modding the game. I'm sure the modders and posters here have 0 influence over EASports. Complaining for the sake of change when one feels wronged is justified, complaining for the sake of complaining is annoying.
