Curtain Calls?

Maybe they meant when the player "celebrates" by pumping his fist as he goes back to the dugout, or the way the Yankees bang elbows or the Red Sox get all weirdly affectionate in this game with each other after homeruns. It's a "curtain call" in the game sense, since it means you see the guy who hit the homerun in one extra video clip. Just a guess.

I'm with you on that one, I've seem the game do little "cut sences" here and there after homers and strikeouts, and so on.
