-Pitching Around means you are telling your pitcher NOT to throw strikes. It's not an intentional walk, but the picther will throw his pitches just high/low/outside/inside with the intention of either walking the batter or getting lucky and the hitter swings at a bad pitch.

-Pitch Out means you tell the pitcher to throw high and outside so that the catcher has a better chance to throw out a runner whom you think is going to steal. It will be a ball and never a strike so obviously you don't do this with a 3 ball count.

 Means that:

Pitch around is a pitch on the border of the strike zone with the danger of a ball/walk

and

Pitch out you actally use this with a runner on base?

What the "normal" pitch, maybe Bonderman vs. PitcherSlot?

Yes and Yes.

Pitching around does mean you are somewhat close to the strike zone, just not too close. Your pitcher is throwing balls on purpose and they are just not close enough to the strike zone where the batter can get a good swing on the pitch. His intention is to walk the batter but perhaps you can get the hitter to swing at a bad pitch and make an out. More than likely you will walk the batter. There are a number of reasons to do this...for instance...perhaps the hitter is on a hot streak and if there are runners on second and third, you'd rather load the bases and take your chances with the next batter rather than risk the current batter hitting a home run.

Only use the pitchout if there is a runner on base and you think he may try and steal a base.

I don't understand what your last comment about Bonderman and Picther Slot means. Sorry.

yes...if the hitter is a weak hitter then you shouldn't pitch around him. Especially if the pitcher is very good.

if you throw strikes to a weak hitter, then in general he will make an out either by strike out or a batted ball for an out.

if the pitch is right down the middle of the plate though, even weak hitter will get base hits at times. you have to be somewhat careful with pitch location, just not as careful as you would against a really good hitter.

In MVP BB 2005, in manage a game, there are only pitcharound and pitchout buttons. Which one should i use when a strong pitcher face a weak batter with empty bases? And what is the best weapon if the is a bunt-danger with runner on 1st?

I only play User vs. CPU so I don't know much about managing mode. With a strong pitcher and weak batter....don't use pitch around. I mean why would you. That is not good strategy. Just pitch normally.

The best weapon if you think the batter may bunt is high fastballs. At least in real life high fastballs are harder to bunt than breaking balls. Partly because of the speed of the pitch and also with breaking balls the ball is generally already headed down so it makes bunting down to the ground easier. With high fastballs the bunter is more likely to pop it up than bunt it down.

I don't know if the Artificial Intelligence in the video game is coded for that kind of baseball strategy but that is what I do in my games. If I think the batter is going to bunt, he gets nothing but high fastballs.
