wikitundra
I did a search but couldn't find any info.... Anyway, where in the datafile can you make fastballs more realistic. I have already upped the Pitcher Speed to 50 in the game tuning. I am looking for a little more pop. Randy Johnson's fastball isn't that intimidating right now:) Thanks in advance for any advice. basballfanatik9
Damn, how fast do you want it to go? If you use MVP Edit you can make it go 127 mph, and if you do as Mark B said it probably will go even faster.
mrmariner
I think its very fast and competive, when Some of these pitcher are throwing the heat you only got a blink of the eye to make up your mind. Give me a breaak. This person must be playing rookie ball!

You MUST be kidding...or playing on Rookie. Got to Allstar or MVP and give it a shot...no disrepect meant, but very hard to believe... C
peterbernard
Maybe his computer runs the game slow. When I turn on Fraps to film something, it slows the pitches down and makes them alot easier for me to hit, so maybe his computer is just slower. mrmariner
Well this is just my 2 cents worth: If you find that the game is to easy there are sliders to use. So If this person finds Randy Johnson's fastball or slider to easy to hit may be he needs to turn down the cpu pitcher control. That way when the 100 mph heater is comming he wont know if is a strike or a ball 2 feet out of the zone!!! Strike
RonBurgundy
I usually get owned with slow-stuff. I LOVE hitting fastballs, but then they throw that off-speed crap and I look like a blind monkey with a bat. But if I connect with that fastball, BOOYA! Friedman
How do you get MVP edit to do 127? I can only get it to 100. Please help. I'd love to see a 127 mph pitch.
mrmariner
I agree with the donut. But I have the cpu control turned down to -15. those ball coming at me at 90+ gives me little chance to think about it. Ya the off speed stuff is different, you have a second to see where it is going. I have swung at a lot of bad pitches, but so do the pros. Back to the post I think this person needs to do some slider maintence. If you are hitting all these 100+ mph balls and I konw they are not all in the strike zone its time to make a slider adjustment!
