Dan20FLA
Hey guys no matter what button I assign to the hit batter command, it doesn't work. Same with intentional walk, I press the assigned button and nothing happens. Also when I try to hit the batter normally by pitching at him, I can never hit him either. The ball always seems to fall short since this new improved pitch meter was introduced, no matter where I put the slider (marker thing) on the pitch meter, I can never hit the batter. Maybe 1% of the time. Any ideas? I really like to hit Arod haha. Not being able to hit batters takes alot of fun outa the game for me : ( I am using saitek analog controller p880 (supported). spitoon
Hitting a batter and the IBB are achieved through a combination of buttons, not just the one that you configure it to. Generally, it's the left shoulder button and whatever you programmed. For me (Logitech Rumblepad 2) it's the left shoulder button and then press one of the analog sticks (they are buttons too)...one is the bean ball, and the other is the IBB. I always forget which is which, so I deleted the IBB one and moved it to the keyboard as W (for Walk). Now I press the left shoulder button and W for an IBB and the left shoulder button and one of my analog sticks for the bean ball.
Dan20FLA
Damn I am confused, because I re set all my control's to different buttons rather than the default. What is the left shoulder button = on your comp? THANK YOU Though, I will try combos now that I know. Any idea why you need to press combinations to bean/walk players tho? Either way, thank you brotha! I ll test it out =/ I am using a saitek p880 so our buttons are different, I to have shoulder buttons I ll try those =p
