For the life of me I can't remember where to export the DAT files after you make some edits for the main roster. Which folder do you export it too? LOL i've got like 20 rosters now in each folder lol

Open, opens up a saved roster that you edited already and saved. Import opens up the roster in the game. AFter you make changes you need to save it then click export to export it back to the datadatabase folder and overwrite the one that's in there. If you don't get asked to overwrite then you are exporting it to the wrong folder.

okay i did that, but i don't see the updates when i load up my dynasty season. however, i do see it at the beginning/default screen. i think what the proble is, is that i don't have a roster file for it. could that be the problem? if so, what do i do?

Hmm i'm not sure. I just ran into the same problem with terminator korea's cyberfaces. They only show up when i start a new dynasty. :? But (for example) his Roy Oswalt shows up fine in my saved dynasty. Hopefully someone has some info on this.

Saved dynasty files can't be edited with MVPedit

i've done the same thing and can't get my edited roster to shown up in the game when i click on "load rosters". i've been editing a roster for a couple of weeks and now i have the editing done to my satisfaction and want to export it from mvpedit into the game. in mvpedit, i clicked "save as" and saved it as a conspicuous roster so that i know if i'm loading the edited one. i called it MLB2005. from mvpedit, i saved this roster then exported it to the database file in C:program filesea sportsmvp 2005datadatabase, but when i go into the game and click on load rosters, it's still not there. does mvpedit automatically change the .mbe extension of my saved file and export it as a .dat extension or do i need to "save as" MLB2005.dat in order for it to show up in the game when i load rosters?

Check the other thread- you don't need to change any extensions, move anything, or load anything in game.
