rows24
This game sucks in MVP mode. The computer throws ten times more balls than stirkes. If a line drive is hit to the infielder he wont move one step to catch it using the logitech game pad. The computer hits the ball every where all over the field, everything i hit is either caught or a ground out. When the computer steals the second baseman or the shortstop has to lift is glove over his head before tagging the guy instead of just sliding his glove over. by this time the runner is way safe. Every time i steal im thrown out by a mile. It is impossible to judge a pitch from the computer, you are either way early or way late. This is totally UNREAL! Anybody else fell the same way. :(
miles44
you're not supposed to play MVP mode if you wanna win
pedrospecialk
MVP Mode isn't that hard if you display the slightest bit of patience and know how to hit the ball to the opposite field. Also, YOU have to throw some balls out of the strike zone to get them to chase pitches, and throw a ton of offspeed pitches.

big shmooz
MVP mode is SUPPOSED to be harder. However as you get better at the game you will find that while MVP mode is a challenge, it can be beat (of course not always, which is as it SHOULD be). rows24
You better not throw anything up in the strike zone. I can throw a 98 mph fastball with Randy Johnson up and in out of the strikezone to a righty batter and he will still hit it out. UNREAL
jstone
I play on mvp level, default sliders, with the O's. I am up 2-0 against the padres in WS. Sounds old I know but patience IS the key. You must force the pitcher to throw your pitch. If the cpu knows you are swinging at everything, what is the incentive to throw a strike? Also opposite field hits are huge. As far as you pitching, I have the strike zone on but no hot/cold zones. I find that hitting the corners is the key here. Now, occasionaly Ramirez and such may jack a few here its ok. Keep in mind that if you get on a streak and can you players with that yelow or green happy face they play better. This helps as they go on huge streaks both hitting and fielding. basballfanatik9
I think MVP is too easy, I've played about 20 games in MVP Mode and my record is like 14-6. You just got to be patient, trust me, if you wait, the pither will throw a mistake pitch, and thats when you jack one.
