FBeaule04
In every MVP game I played, I fell in love with one player. A guy that, I don't know why, perform way over is head and give me splendid feeling. This year, it's Esteban Loaiza. Loaiza was the only pitcher I couldn't extend the contract at the start of the year because he asked for a 4 year deal at 3.10 and I didn't want to give him that much. Loaiza, in 4 starts, have a 4-0 record, a 1.54 ERA, the opposition is batting for a .161 against him. And, to top it all, he have 35 K's. Simply incredible for a guy like that. After the 3rd start of every starter, I said to myself: Got to give a try at MVP with Skybreaker's sliders. I tough that Loaiza would be completely demolished at MVP level. But then again, he amazed me. He pitch 7 1/3, allowing 5 hits, no run and 6 K's. Do you have some guys who are getting well over your expectations? That's the place to tell it :-) This game is really fun, I have to play at least one game a day to be happy :-)
MarkB
In all the games I've played with the Yankees (Not too many, I've been focusing on the minors with my roster), Tony Womack has had a hit in every single one of them. He even had a 2 homer game in one.
Sean O
Players you must pick up: For now: 2B: Luis Castillo For later: C: Joe Mauer C: D Navarro (had great luck with him in one dynasty, awful in another) 1B: A Bako on the Braves AAA team SS: BJ Upton, D-rays SS: Hanley Ramirez, can't remember the name MVP gives him as default, Boston OF: Miguel Cabrera, Marlins OF: Wily Mo Pena, Reds (he usually gets added to the trade block right before the deadline) SP: Zach Greinke, KC SP: Scott Kazmir, TB SP: Abe Alvarez (in one owner mode he became sick), Bos And I'm sure a few others. After a few years these people are all ridiculous.

ssmith7289
Doesnt that take all the fun out of the game Sean? It would for me
peterbernard
In the first game I played of Total Classics, Willie Randolph got two homeruns and a double. Randolph only hit around 50 homers in his entire career! But I don't think it takes the fun out of it. The thing is, in real life, players DO go on streaks, and do have one year that's better than their other years. Don Mattingly wasn't known as a homerun hitter in his later days but he hit homeruns in ten straight games once, it happens. ALSO I think if you turn off "Variable Stuff" then the players play closer to their stats, but I like Variable Stuff on.
Gudraves
I picked up Loaiza at the start of the season to add another veteran pitcher to my Mariners staff, he was 5-1 by mid May but only had 12 strikeouts so I traded him for some prospects and he has since dropped to 6-5 but now has 55 strikeouts. MarkBTheYankee...how long was ur hitting streak, I had one with Ichiro in my Dynasty log that lasted 47 games to start off the season.
626punk
The guy that did it for me, on last year's and this years was Brian Anderson, pitcher for the Royals. Last year he had a record of 19-4, with about 270K's, and this was playing on All-Star. This year for me in one of my Dynasty's, I simulated the first season, and he ended up with a 4-14 record and only like 80K's and an ERA of about 5.00, but with him on my team for the 2nd year, he is 3-0 with 29K's and an ERA of 0.73. He's even pitched a complete 10 Inning game for me. I'd also recomend picking up Grienke along with Anderson if you can trade for both of them.
