yankswn23
My game will crash during different times in the game sometimes when it just loads the main screen others in different innings. I use the Yankees vs the red sox mainly, but it crashed when I used some other teams against the yanks as well. I dont know what the problem is it seems the only way I can play a complete game without crashing is to set the player detail to low at the lowest resolution 640 x 480 X 32 I think. I have an laptop hp pavillion 7020us with 1GB of RAM , I have an NVIDIA geforce FX Go5600 w 64 MB of video ram, (32mb of borrowed ram) 2.8GHZ CPU I also due high end graphic photo editing with photoshop and dont see any problems? I had some uniforms added, but I recently reinstalled the game and only applied the patches from EA. can any body help?
big shmooz
Do you have the latest drivers installed? (just a thought as to perhaps why this is happening)

big shmooz
You are playing with stock everything... (no mods whatsoever)? If so, all I can suggest is, try reinstalling the game. Something may have gone wrong with your installation. (Make sure you start out fresh by deleting the MVP 2005 folder if it's still there after you uninstall the game)
yankswn23
Still having problems with just rosters, If I play with the default roster I think it works ok, if I edit R. Cano and then try to play it crashes by powering off my desktop, I think my video card is overheating and the computer shuts down to prevent this. I had no problems with mvp 2004, and now I am seeing the same problem there. I have upgraded to a 1gb of video memory. And I dont know what else to do ideas??
