Roscosuper
Back in the day, there used to be a big differnece between console and PC sports games........the PC games were geared more towards "simulation"..........that margin has decreased significantly........I think it would be fair to say that, EA has spent less time on their PC version (although, one could make the argument that the console games show signs of neglect) however, the PC version of the game is more "open architecture".......meaning, some aspects of the game can be changed buy someone who knows how to change them.........personally, I would have never bought the console version, while '05 is a good game, the work of the "modders" on this site, has totally made the game much more interesting........some of my favorites are jackcasper, billharris, hory, markbtheyankee, and others I can't think of..........anyway, if you want to make the game more of a "project", then I think you'll enjoy it btw, do some research on the game.......MAKE SURE your hardware is right for the game......there were a lot of problems with a lot of peoples systems......most problems were solved with EAs patch, but do some work first, or you could have yourself one nightmare. Stix
I'm having that same debate too go_bucs2000. I really wanna buy it for the PC but I don't know if it is worth having two. I'm probably going to buy it though because I'm beginning to neglet my PS2 and getting into my newer computer.

bearcat67
I have a P4 2.266, GeForce 6800, 512 ram. Game works perfectly at 1024-768 32-bit, and the PC is more than two yrs. old. I've never had a problem w/MVP 2005 even before the patch (Thank you, Nvidia!). I love oldtime baseball, i.e., 1920's-30s. Thank you Total Classics!!! You can't get that on a console. bearcat67
PS. If you wait three more mos. to buy it, $19.99...six mos., $9.99.
jogar84
the console games are a waste of money if u ask me. Why buy something that is less apt to have update rosters and mods? No contest. Get a decent PC and get MVP.
RAM
IMO there is no comparison. i have an xbox and it's cool you can lay around and play. BUT once mvp is here it collects dust. console games get old after a few months, this game w/ all the mods never gets old! the only thing that stopped me from playing mvp 04 was the release of 05. give it a shot spend the $20-30, once you go pc you will never turn back. that goes for other titles too. the only game i will still regularly play with a console is madden and that's mainly due to a lack of mods. if there were madden mods like these i wouldn't even own a console. RAM
ok just one question remote controller wise im horrilbe with the keyboard its just way to hard is there any remote that is cheap or sumthin like that or even some way to connect my PS2 remote to the computer? i'd say about 95% of us use a controller (gamepad) using the keyboard w/ sports game sucks. most of us either use the saitek p880 - $20 or ps2 controller w/ an usb adapter. i use the saitek, but the ps2 usb adapter is around $10 at radioshack and online. google it.
