I picked mine up from Ebay as well. Cost me $8.00 with a brand new PS2 controller tossed in for good measure.

As for helping you with the brand name, sorry cant help much there because the packaging was tossed ages ago, and there is no logo or anything on the adapter itself.

But I did look on Ebay to see if the guy who sold me my adapter had any more for sale, and surely he did. Take a look at these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...827599&rd=1

And it is only $4.99!

Hope you find what you are looking for.

Mine works great now. If your having problems, make sure you edit the controller.cfg file to match the button numbers in the game controller section of the windows control panel. Also you need to swap the axis number for the right analog just change the 3's to 4's and vice versa or else sliding/diving/climbing the wall will be messed up.

L3 shouldnt pause the game unless your buttons are different than mine. Are you sure you are not confusing pausing w/ opening the pitch history. I believe that L3 opens up a windows showing other stuff. Button 10 is start on mine and button 11 is pitch history (which i never use anyways).

I'm using a Sony Dualshock 2 controller......

L3=Esc Button,Pause

Button 8=Pitch History

I also noticed last game that I can't hit batters <usually Button 5+R3>. In fact, pushing button 5 intentionally walks the batter. Button 7 + the base, is how I pick off.

I'm just not good at editing the controller.cfg file. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You must have a different converter than me ( i have a sony dual shock w/ a radioshack vibration adapter)...........You need to look in your windows control panel, goto game controllers, and hit the buttons to see what is what. Then open your controller.cfg file w/ notepad, and change the VPAD_Virtual buttons to match your button numbers in windows. The rest of the controller.cfg file you can then edit easily once your on the game.
