GenAlpha
Alright, I made a pitcher, based on the suggestions poeple made at the "Perfect Pitcher" topic. I gave him a fastball with a velocity of 101 and a splitfinger or knuckles or something like that with a velocity of 56 Instead of pitching 100 miles per hour, the guy ended up pitching only 79-82 mph Then, I tried maxing out the velocities in all the pitches, but the guy still pitches 85-90 mph I turned off variable stuff, and that didn't work either If this is supposed to happen, how are people getting pitchers that could toss 100+ mph? BTW, I have the X-Box version of the game, if it makes any difference *EDIT - The "Perfect Pitcher" topic was at Gamespot.com's forums
MarkB
The game automatically calculates an average fastball speed, so because the knuckler is a slow pitch, that is bringing the average speed of the fastball down.
Gudraves
Really, my created pitcher on XBOX has a knucklecurve that tops at 75 I think and I have no problem consistenly throwing 100+ for at least the first 2 innings.
