dynasty keeps crashing to desktop

i have set up 2 different dynasties - one with an a.l. team and a separate one with an n.l. team. in my nl loaded dynasty, i simmed a month of games and played one game and everything is fine. in my a.l. dynasty, i've played a game and simmed about a week or 2 of games, but when i get to this one game, it crashes to the desktop no matter if i click to play the game or to sim the game. i've gone into my mvpedit, checked to make sure all of the mlb, AAA, AA, and A rosters had the right number of players and all of the lineup and rotations are filled. i then exported that roster into the game, but keep having the same problem. i've even deleted the dynasty and started over, but have the same results. (i've got the "use default rosters" set to NO on both dynasties. when i tried going into the manage rosters before i loaded the dynasty and i loaded the team that seems to be causing the crashes, the only thing i noticed was in the AAA lineup it had "NULL-) listed in the pitcher's slot in the w/o dh lineups. i don't know why it would have this because it isn't that way in my rosters.

anyway - any ideas on how i could fix this? initially, i had the same problem with a game in my nl dynasty, but after i made sure all of the problem team's rosters and rotations were filled, i had no problems since.
