yukon2k
i have a ati radeon 9800 pro video card with the latest driver. i have the settings set to "best quality" over performance, but don't understand what some of the settings mean or what they should be set to for best quality like - aa, triple buffering, vertical sync, etc. right now, when i'm playing mvp, the field, textures, colors, sharpness, and contrast seem to be very good but there seems to be a lot of dark areas. if i set the camera to a pitcher view, the stadium backgrround is so shaded that i can barely see the batter. when i set the camera to a batter view, it seem as though part of the batter is very shaded, some areas around the outfield wall are very shaded (not natural stadium shadows), and any closeups of the players are very shaded and bleand in with a shaded background. i didn't notice this when i played some exhibition games earlier on a month or so ago - the colors, sharpness, contrast, etc were stunning before. some parts of the field are still stunning - the infield, the grass, and most of the stadium.
