Minneapolis Twins?

As a native of Minneapolis, and a sports fan, I'm upset, have been for years. Citizens of other cities get their teams named after their cities, but never me. Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Northstars, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Twins. Why can't I, a native of Minneapolis, have just one team named after my beloved city, like so many other cities get?

Is it possible to mod the game so that the team is referred to as the Minneapolis Twins? Is it possible to change the uniforms to say Minneapolis? Please, help out a Minneapolitan sports fan here.

I know how you feel. I live in a city that has lost it's team in a major show of disrespect by a moronic owner who knows absolutely nothing of loyalty.

But at least you do have teams that still represent the place you live in. I mean, you do live in the state of Minnesota. And techinically, the Wild play in St. Paul, not Minneapolis. I think that's why the teams go for the Minnesota name, because St. Paul is almost as big and is onlly about 10 miles away. Calling them Minneapolis would be sort of a slap to those people.

Still, I understand why you would want your hometown to have a team with its name in it, especially when you have so many that play there. You did have the Minneapolis Lakers a long time ago, so it's been done before. and if St. Paul can have a team named after them (a minor league team, yes, but still), then Minneapolis should too.

It can be done in the game, much like someone went and made the insulting and disgusting name change to the Angels.
