wikitundra
Hopefully, with the collective minds on this site, we can figure a way to print boxscores. I read elsewhere on this site that this info is stored in RAM. What file in the program stores this data to write it to RAM? Something is writing to the Boxscore display. The info is being stored somewhere in the program. It has to be a rather obscure file within the MVPBaseball directory... Any ideas?
Sac51
Nice posting... I also hope that some "collective minds" have ideas of solving that problem  If it can be solved, you can post your "highlights" like No No's are a perfect game here in the forum!!! paulw
I rembember with about NHL 2001 or so someone wrote a brilliant program to print out full hockey box scores. However, the only way this worked was you had to save the game at the end. You can't save games in MVP but the data still might be there. My guess is it's sitting in RAM or some temp file?? If it were stored in a temporary file, I bet after the game is exited, the temp file gets deleted, because there is no way to view boxscores again once you exit. I think that is why in NHL 2001 you would have to save the game before you exit. But if there might be some way of getting the file not to delete itself if that would be the problem. That's just my opinion though.
Sharpshooter
You can leave the game and go to Windows. Maybe there is a chance here.
hoosier4974
I might be missing the actual point of this thread, but I'll throw my 2 cents in anyways.... Why could'nt you just use a program like Fraps (free download) to take multiple screen shots of the box score screen and then piece them all together in a paint program like Photoshop ??? I saw a thread on here a few days ago where someone posted there slider settings and had them pieced together into one file. Once these Fraps images are processed in Photoshop, you can print from there. Just a suggestion
Sharpshooter
I had an idea similar to that but no one really took it seriously. http://www.theperfectgame.net/forums/index...?showtopic=2637
waterboy100
since i like to keep records i just use fraps and save all of my box scores as jpgs and type them up right after the game. it takes about 5 minutes to do.
miles44
actually, I keep score of every game I play... btw, where can I get this FRAP program?

wikitundra
The actual point of this thread was that this was done last year... so, why can't it be done this year? The file has to be in the mvp directory some where. If it can be found, then everyone wouldn't have to take the extra steps to use fraps to print boxscores. five
It's not a file that is manipulated, if that was the case then it would be simple. It's stored temporarily in memory.
PirateFan13
yes, this was don last year as part of the .sav file reader. I would love to see something similiar to what Madden has, where you can look at stats and box scores outside of the actual game. It boggles my mind why EAsports does it for one game but not the next. I have previously requested that the 2004 .sav reader be upgraded to work with the 2005 version of the game, and I am still hoping that it will be done.
